Within the creative and digital industries collaboration plays a pivotal role. It brings people together, sharing knowledge, learning and building consensus. Inspired by the Sheffield Culture Strategy, participation is one of the key themes for the development of culture in the city. Having partnered with Site Gallery and the University of Sheffield for the first two showcase events, we were pleased to have worked with Sheffield Theatres on the third event of the series.

At the event we showcased the likes of  Hype Dance, Music in the Round, Opus Independents, Sheffield Festival of Ancient Drama, Art in the Park, SKINN, Reflections Art, and Sheffield Theatres. Around 120 guests from the region’s creative industries attended and the evening showed that now more than ever, working and collaborating together is key for development.

We hope to host more Culture Club Showcase events in 2012. Watch this space.

Three independent Sheffield based food producers have come together with our client, The Tiffin Company, to offer a twist to the traditional hamper. On offer are locally produced preserves from Catherine’s Choice, fruit cupcakes from Victoria Made, and award-winning honey from Sheffield Honey Company. They will be housed in a three-tier metal tiffin.

The Sheffield Christmas Tiffin will be a first in a series of limited edition tiffins in collaboration with other local independent food producers. Each time, profits will go to a different local charity; the first being The Children’s Hospital. There will be only 75 tiffins. On sale until Wednesday 4th January 2012
